No active alarms
You haven't set any alarms yet.
Important: the alarm only rings while this tab is open, the volume is up and your computer or phone is awake. Press "Test sound" before you go to sleep and don't close the tab. On phones, a locked screen may silence the browser.
Type the time in the Time field or use a quick button such as "in 10 min" to create the alarm straight away.
The label is shown on screen when the alarm rings. Choose beep, bell, chime, digital or siren and press the speaker to preview it.
Click Set alarm. It appears in your list and the top of the page shows how long until the next alarm.
Leave this tab open with the volume up. When it rings, click Stop, or Snooze to delay it by 5 minutes.
The online alarm clock works in any modern browser. You can create several alarms, each with its own label and sound, and switch each one on or off in the list. Alarms are saved in this browser, so if you close and reopen the page they are still there, ready to enable.
Each alarm rings once. After you stop it, it stays in the list switched off; tick the box again to use it the next day. Snooze delays the ring by 5 minutes as many times as you like.
Besides waking up, an online alarm is handy to remember medicine, leave for a meeting, take something out of the oven or take breaks at work. For short countdowns such as 5 or 25 minutes the timer and pomodoro tools are usually easier; the alarm clock is best when you know the exact time.
No. The alarm runs in the page, so the tab must stay open. It can be in the background, but don't close the tab or the browser.
No. The browser stops running while the computer sleeps. Turn on the keep-screen-on option and adjust your power settings so the computer doesn't sleep.
Yes. Create as many alarms as you want, each with its own time, label and sound. They stay in your list and can be switched on or off at any time.
When the alarm rings, click Snooze and it rings again in 5 minutes. Click Stop to turn it off for good.
Check that the volume is up, the tab isn't muted and that you clicked on the page first (browsers only allow sound after an interaction). Use "Test sound" to check.
It works while the screen is on and the browser is open. With the screen locked the phone may pause the browser, so the built-in alarm app is safer for waking up.
