Today is Thursday, October 1, 2026. 85 days until Christmas. 91 days left in 2026.
The calculator starts on today's date. Change it to the day you want to count from, such as a purchase, a start date or a contract signature.
Enter the end date or use a shortcut: Christmas, New Year, end of month or next holiday. If the dates are in the wrong order, the count still works.
Tick "Include the end date" when both ends count, for example for vacation days or a deadline that includes its last day.
You get the total number of days plus the same period in weeks, months, years, hours and business days, with weekends and federal holidays excluded.
The difference between March 1 and March 10 is 9 days: the calculator measures the gap between the dates, the same way a spreadsheet does when you subtract one date from another. If you need to count both March 1 and March 10 (say, 10 days of vacation), tick "Include the end date" and the result becomes 10.
Business days are Monday to Friday minus the national holidays of the selected country, on the date they actually fall. Observed days off and state holidays are not included; for deadlines, the working days calculator lists every holiday in the period.
The "Add or subtract" tab tells you the date 30, 60 or 90 days from now, when a 90-day probation ends, a due date 40 weeks away or when a 2-year warranty expires.
When adding months, the day of the month is kept whenever possible. If the target month is shorter, the result moves to its last day: January 31 plus one month is February 28 (or 29). Banks and spreadsheets use the same rule.
Every date is handled as a whole day with no time of day, so time zones and daylight saving time never add or remove a day. The month breakdown counts complete months from the start date and shows the days left over. Everything runs in your browser; no date is sent to a server.
Leave the start date as today and choose the date you are waiting for as the end date. The result shows the days left, plus weeks and months. For Christmas, New Year, the end of the month and the next holiday, just click the shortcut.
By default it measures the interval between the dates, counting the first day but not the last, like a spreadsheet. Tick "Include the end date" to count both ends; the result goes up by one day.
Open "Add or subtract", pick the start date, choose Add, type the number and select Days. The resulting date appears with its weekday. For deadlines in business days, use the working days calculator.
Yes. Saturdays, Sundays and the country's national holidays are excluded. State and local holidays are not.
The "In weeks" result divides the total days by 7 and shows full weeks plus the remaining days, for example "12 weeks and 3 days".
