Audio cutter questions
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is decoded and cut in your browser. It never leaves your device.
How do I make an iPhone ringtone?
Pick the part you want (up to 30 seconds), choose M4R, press Cut and save, then add the .m4r file to your iPhone with Finder or iTunes, or open it in GarageBand.
Which formats can I open and save?
You can open whatever your browser can decode, usually MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC. You can save as MP3, M4R or WAV.
Why does the first MP3 or M4R export take longer?
The encoder (about 25 MB) is downloaded once, the first time you save as MP3 or M4R. WAV is instant and needs no download.
