Frequently asked questions
How are the palettes generated?
Colors are picked in the OKLCH color space using harmony rules (analogous, complementary, triadic, split complementary or monochrome), so the colors look balanced together.
How do I keep a color and change the rest?
Click the lock on a color. Locked colors stay put when you press Space or the Generate button, and new colors are built around them.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is shrunk and analysed on your device with k-means clustering, then discarded.
What contrast ratio do I need?
WCAG asks for at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text at level AA, and 7:1 and 4.5:1 at level AAA.
