Paste the names (one per line), choose how many and hit Pick.
Type or paste the participants into the Names box, one per line. You can copy straight from a spreadsheet, a class register or a list of comments.
Leave it at 1 for a single winner, or raise the number to draw several names at once, with nobody picked twice.
With "Remove winner from the list" on, each picked name is taken out automatically, so the next draw only includes people who haven't been picked.
Click Pick. Winners are added in order to the Winners list, which you can copy or download as a .txt file.
To pick giveaway winners among customers or followers, paste the list of names (or @handles) and draw. With several prizes, set the quantity: the first name shown is first place, the second is second, and so on. The numbered winners list doubles as a record when you announce the result.
Want more transparency? Run the draw live or record your screen. The animation cycles through the names and then highlights the winners.
Teachers use the name picker to choose who answers next, set the order of presentations or assign topics. With winner removal on, every student is called once before anyone is called again. The list stays in the browser, so it is still there next lesson.
Each line counts as one entry. If a name appears twice it has twice the chance, which is handy when someone bought two raffle tickets. If you don't want that, click "Remove duplicates" before drawing. Lists of up to 2,000 names are supported.
Yes. The pick uses crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographic generator, with rejection sampling to discard values that would introduce bias. Every name has exactly the same chance regardless of its position in the list. The result is fixed before the animation and nothing leaves your device.
When you pick several names at once, no name is repeated. Between draws, keep "Remove winner from the list" on so that people already picked don't take part again.
Yes. It uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so every name has the same probability with no bias from its position. The animation is only visual.
Only in your browser (localStorage), so you don't have to paste it again. It is never sent to a server.
Increase the "How many" field and click Pick. The names appear in the order they were drawn, which you can use as the placing.
Yes. Use Copy to paste the numbered list into a chat or document, or Download .txt to save a file.
