The 1 second CPS test measures your peak burst. It is over in an instant, so your reaction on the first click and raw finger speed decide the score. Results swing a lot between attempts, so do a few and keep the best.
CPS stands for clicks per second. The test counts how many times you click within a fixed time and divides by the number of seconds. It is the number Minecraft PvP players, Roblox players and rhythm gamers use to compare mouse speed. Everything runs in your browser: no click is sent to a server.
Use the standard 5 second test or pick 1, 10, 30 or 60 seconds from the duration list. Each duration keeps its own personal best.
The timer only starts with your first click inside the red area, so you can get into position before you begin.
Keep clicking until time runs out. Your clicks and live CPS update while the clock ticks down.
At the end you see your CPS, clicks per minute (CPM) and rank. Copy the result to challenge friends, or try again to beat your record.
Most people score 5 to 7 clicks per second with a normal one-finger click. Anything above 8 CPS is faster than average, and trained Minecraft PvP players get past 10 CPS with techniques like jitter clicking and butterfly clicking. Consistent scores above 15 CPS are rare and usually come from mice with a double-click switch or from drag clicking.
To compare scores fairly, always use the same duration. A 1 second score is almost always higher than a 60 second score because fatigue slows you down on longer tests.
Each technique trades comfort for speed. Try each one on the 5 second test and see which works best for you and your mouse.
Do short sets with breaks, stretch your fingers and wrist, and stop if you feel pain or tingling. Jitter clicking strains the forearm, so keep those sessions brief. No record is worth a repetitive strain injury.
The test runs entirely in your browser. Personal bests are stored only on this device, with no sign-up and no data sent anywhere.
CPS is your total clicks divided by the test length in seconds. 42 clicks in the 5 second test gives 8.4 CPS. CPM (clicks per minute) is CPS multiplied by 60.
The average is 5 to 7 CPS with normal clicking. Trained players reach 10–14 CPS with jitter clicking and go past 15 CPS with butterfly clicking.
The 5 second test is the standard for comparing scores. Use 1 second to measure your peak burst and 30 or 60 seconds to train endurance.
Yes. Every tap on the red area counts as a click, so you can measure your tapping speed on a phone or tablet.
Yes, your best score for each duration is saved in your browser. If you clear browser data or switch devices, the record starts from zero.
The test does not block autoclickers, but then the score no longer measures your own speed. Scores above 20–25 CPS usually point to an autoclicker or a mouse with a double-click fault.
